Description

This reactive power controller is based on a standard MCX-14 controller and includes an internal RS-485 communication card that allows to transfer to a computer the readings of the parameters of the network and the state of the controller. This communication is done through a RS-485 bus that can achieve a maximum distance of 1200 m with a three wire cable. In order to connect the controller to a standard PC without a RS-485 port it is necessary to use an intelligent conversor RS485/RS232 so as to adapt the signal to a standard COM RS232 port.
